and maybe it was over a week ago.
but, never fear. we won't decorate it Christmas-style until Friday. it currently showcases colored leaves on which we wrote things for which we were thankful. keeping it real for Thanksgiving, peeps!

We get out the decorations the weekend of Thanksgiving, but our tree doesn't usually go up for another week...or two...depending on how stressed out I am. X0)

I like that idea of putting colored leaves on the tree with things you are grateful for. What could be better than getting more tree mileage...Thanksgiving AND Christmas?!

Totally fake...though I may get a real one this year for the sake of getting one. We put ours up the weekend after Thanksgiving...but I start listning to Christmas music after Halloween.
I don't know if we would have put one up at all for various reasons, but on the Friday after Thanksgiving our toddler said "Papa, do we have a tree we can decorate?" And you should have seen the big old grin on his face. We are currently Christmas crazy around here!
