randomonium

why, yes, I am watching a Sasquatch Music group perform. Does that seem odd?
I don't know if Twitter and Facebook have ruined me mentally... permanently. It seems I can only think in short, carefully contrived ideas. Not always contrived, actually. Mostly random and erratic.

Yesterday I overheard a kid tell his dad that another kid was "kind of a big deal" at school. Is anyone ever simply "a big deal" or must they always be KIND OF a big deal? And did I mention that this kid was a 9 year-old? All kinds of awesome.

I frequently find myself dazed while driving. Like, "whoa! I totally didn't even look before I changed lanes/turned right/ran perilously fast through that red light while simultaneously texting, putting on my makeup and eating." It makes me wonder how many people drive similarly and why I am still alive.

There is an older man who works as the crossing guard by the kids' school. (Did I mention that Ashton needs to be walked to school by me?) When I walk home, and I use his kind services, he always says, "Have a good day, lady." Lady? Really? Why does that make me feel all types of creepy?

X Factor makes me cry. This is an embarrassing truth of which I will never mention again. (and no, I am not pregnant. nosy!)

My internet tabs are a great window into my inconsistent soul. They currently read "How to Write a Freaking Cool Novel", "Compression Socks for Runners", "How to Write a Business Plan", "Chocolate Chip Sweet Rolls", "Blogger: anna - Create Post". I will bet you that the first one I do anything about is the sweet rolls. Chocolate chip sweet rolls? Hello, heaven!
