Check it out. This Sunday is going to be a big deal.
And, no, it is not my birthday again already.
This very Sunday is the 10th day of the 10th month of the year 2010.
Friends, this is awesome. Let's do something awesome to commemorate. We will always remember 10-10-10 and our children will never tire of hearing about this special day in our personal history.
What should we do? I've been thinking about this... a lot. And I have a plan. On 10-10-10, commit to doing something awesome for 10 different people. Here are some ideas I have had:
1. Leave 10 cookies anonymously on someone's doorstep.
2. Write an anonymous note telling someone how awesome they are.
3. Donate $10 to a charity--any cause that strikes your fancy.
4. Give 10 flowers to an old lady in your neighborhood.
5. Attach a helium balloon to someone's doorknob.
6. Write a message on someone's car window with washable window paint ("Lookin' Good!").
7. If you go to church, sit by someone that you've never met and give them a great compliment.
8. Make a scarf and bring it to someone who looks like they need one.
9. Give ten kisses to someone you love... or should love.
10. Smile at ten strangers and tell them to have a GREAT day!
Do WHATEVER you want and strikes YOUR fancy.
I am hoping at least... TEN of you commit to this. More would be more awesome. Commit to this and write it on your blog and tell people to commit to it and tell them to write it on their blog, etc, etc, etc. This could be super fantastic. I am excited. Don't let me down, friends.

alright, from now on I am reading your blog ON A DAILY BASIS! i would have known what 10-10-10 was if I had only clicked on my reader that day. i'm pretty sure that day i did absolutely nothing nice for anyone.
