What is my word?
Jen D. asked us to ponder one word that describes who we are. Just ONE! How could I ever pick one measly word to explain who I believe that I am?
Which lead to:
long-winded
verbose
chatterbox
Yes. All are true. But they describe a piece of me, not the whole me. Part of me considers words that I fear others think of me:
arrogant
fleeting
smelly
But this is MY word. Who do I think that I am? Who is my true self, not the one I try to appear to be?
Other words that describe pieces of who I believe that I am are:
ambivalent
delayed
inquiring
excited
grateful
hopeful
innovative
eager
optimistic
eclectic
When it all boils down to it, I am someone who has interest and excitement for too many things. I can do a lot of things that I want to, but I've never been one to excel at anything. It's my ultimate blessing and curse. I can't concentrate on one project for much longer than two weeks... and I've got projects up the yin yang. I'd love to finish ONE big project, finish writing ONE book, ONE sewing project, ONE invention, ONE chandelier, ONE painting, ONE resurgence to violin playing, ONE carpentry project, ONE marathon, ONE et cetera.
As soon as I do finish one project--or more often right before I do--I am absorbed in another.
Some call it ADD, but not me. I prefer to call it:
interestedAlas, long-winded as I might have been, I stand by my one word:
interested
Take it to the bank, friends!
**I haven't forgotten about my totally awesome creation for someone who cares. Do / did you care? I will pick TONIGHT! (And hopefully finish said creation within 2 weeks.)**

1. 32 glorious years!
2. free cookie Mondays
3. friends who bring casseroles... just because!

I like it!
It is so very hard to find one word!
Have a great week!
happy day!
I always say I am the jack of all trades, master of none.
(and I relate to the one book, one resurgence of violin playing, one painting, one marathon {okay, maybe one 1/2 marathon.})
People are often fooled into believing I excel at everything when I really don't excel at anything.
It's a blessing and a curse on many levels.

It feels good to have a word, doesn't it?! Have a wonderful day
BTW, I checked out Jen D's blog and found it very interesting! I wouldn't even know where to begin to find a word I felt described me. How about "confused"?
This is a GREAT word. And I like the way you arrived at it, too.
=)

Happy birthday, B!
Happy Birthday beautiful!
Happy Birthday! Yes those were jeggings that you saw me wearing. I did not know there was a specific name for them!? I LOVE them! So comfy, I bought them when I was pregnant.
Happy Birthday, friend. Hope 32 will treat you kindly.
I love your word. I tried to think of something that expressed my inability to finish projects as well, but I could never think of anything too positive besides quitter!
Happy Birthday!!!
Thanks for the word. I too desire finishing ability. I always think of a long ago conference talk called "Finishers Wanted". I think I last about two weeks too.
And I think my friend Helen is in one word, excellent!
